After combing in a side part, you will want to start creating the waves, curling quarter-inch sections of hair around a one-and-a-half inch curling iron.
Once you’re finished curling all the hair to the right of the part, move on to the braid, which is actually three braids in one.
What that means is that you begin with a simple braid right at your left temple. You braid for about an inch and then intertwined the hair right behind your ear, in essence creating second braid.
Then braid that for another inch and then intertwined more hair at the top of her neck. The result of all that extra effort is that it looks like a single very texturized braid.
The idea is for it not to look perfect. You finish by teasing the roots on the right side of the part and spraying the whole shebang with strong hold hairspray.
